A. Ahlstrom Corporation was founded in accordance with Antti and Eva’s plan, and the company started its business at the beginning of the year 1908.

The company’s logo was designed by Swedish Louis Sparre already in 1904. The logo featured a Finnish pine, Antti Ahlström’s initials and 1851, the year Antti Ahlström started his business. The company’s modern logos are also based on this logo.
