In October, the Ahlström Capital Group completed the acquisition, by which it bought 60% of Ahlstrom´s (former Ahlstrom-Munksjö) Décor business. For Ahlström Capital, this is an important long[1]term investment in the Forest & Fiber focus area and it offers long-term value creation opportunities. A new company, Munksjö AB, was formed for the Décor business, with Ahlström Capital as the largest owner. Ahlstrom remains a minority owner of the company together with Nidoco AB.
